Despite the Fact that Agent Steel has been around for some years now, they haven’t lost their touch. They’re as sharp as ever and the music is as intense and aggressive as it has always been.

Since I first heard them on a MFN v/an album with the songs “The Swarm Is Upon Us” and “Mad Locust Rising”, I have been fund of their general style and technique. This is thrash when it is best – lots of energy and raw power combined with melody and great musicianship turns “Order Of The Illuminati” into a must-have release for the dedicated metal fan. If you don’t know Agent Steel already you’re in for a big positive surprise. And if you know of Agent Steel already, you’ll probably find this release as good a one as their previous ones.

There’s no fake music – no pop or heavy metal sound-a-likes round here. This is the essence of what rock is all about – genuine metal forged in the glowing flames of lust for playing fast and loud – this is Agent Steel.

My personal favourite on this album is “Earth Under Lucifer” – medium tempo, very doomish drums and totally awesome guitars – turn your stereo to the max – you’re in for the metal treat of your lifetime.
