Charme
Gothica Prog Poetry |

|
”Gothica Prog Poetry” is the first record from Charme so far. This demo consists of 5 songs, all in the vein of Dream Theatre, Planet X, Evanescence and Lacuna Coil. The bands mentioned are the main sources for the bands inspiration, and I do think they have found a sound that is somewhat similar. But there’s also the personal touch. Charme is not a cover band at all. The 5 songs on the album vary a little in mood and atmosphere. My overall impression is that the sound is clean and bright and without any flaws. Charme is symphonic and comes with a positive attitude. One thing in particular I would like to emphasize is the guitarplay. Saverio Bartoli plays as tight as he plays rapid. |
This
guy’s just eminent. But he wouldn’t make it without the rest of the
band. Charme consist of skillfull people all around, and I’m sure that
this album is a good step in the right direction. With this album Charme
has been proving that they’re here to stay. Now they just got to hit the
road, and gain more scene experience. They need to meet the audience,
where the audience is found sort of speak. And who knows, maybe there’s
a scout somewhere someday in a venue checking out Charme, and signing
them for their abilities? |
