Complete "All Systems Go" |
|
There’s a sense of logic in the title of this second album from Danish top artist Complete. The debut came out back in 2001, and is named ”Adjusting the Perpetual Emotion Machine” – not so easy to pronounce. But what the heck, the music is a totally killer! Their style is a mix of hardcore and punk, and I’m under the impression that they totally let loose when this album was recorded. All parameters are cranked to max. No holding back – ahead with full force. This is why the album title fits the music so well. Complete is a Danish band with a very impressive past. The future is only a matter of time, and it will be bright. What makes Complete’s past so impressive is that they’ve already toured all over Europe, and played with bands like Lack, Crowpath, Catharsis and Reversal of Man. Some bands dream about exactly the same, without ever making it. Complete has been there already. And I must admit that their ray of fame and fortune is deserved. |
There are a lot of bands in the hardcore/punk genre, but only a few of them rise above the rest. Complete is one of those, and I feel convinced that they’ll go even further than they have done so far. Talking about their latest release “All Systems Go” it’s a cd with 10 songs. Equally in attitude and density. Complete create their art in the best way possible. And anyone who is into hardcore with a punk attitude will appreciate the releases of Complete. And their live shows, when they go back on the road. They have quite a reputation, for making gigs beyond comparison. Thumbs up for Complete and “All Systems Go” – a must have album for hardcore fans. |
