Fear My Thoughts

"The Great Collapse"

The german metalcoreband Fear My Thoughts has just released their new album “The Great Collapse”. Let me emphasize that the title of the album is not even closely related to the energy and pace of the 10 songs on the album.

Fear My Thoughts is metalcore with a minor deathmetal twist. The album contains all the elements needed, to make a great album. An awesome distorted vocal, guitars with the most sublime riffs around, thundering drums that would make Thor weep and a ball breaking bass to lay down the fierce and brutal rhythm.

Fear My Thoughts is a band with the outmost authority in their music. From what I’ve heard on “The Great Collapse” they are so very close to be a flawless band, that I can hardly measure the distance.

“The Great Collapse” is highly recommendable. Not only to those of you who are into metalcore. But also death metal fans like I. I am sure that those of you who are into bands in the vein of Heaven shall Burn and God Forbid, will find that Fear My Thoughts is worthy of your attention.
