Yet another great release from Danish thrashers Sacrificial.  The 3^rd in a row, and not an impressive amount taken in concideration that Sacrificial has been around since ´93, when they published their debut “Forever Entangled” through Trechoma Records – an album that immediately got rather good reviews.  This release consist of 9 small capsules of energy, which put together makes a highly explosive mixture of grinding and fierce vocals, drums of doom and a razor sharp guitar with a very evil sound. This fine record “Autohate” is pretty aggressive and mean – just see what the label wrote about it recently: “”.....skullblasting brutality and tightness beyond what you’ll find in a virgins cunt”........”! It’s a statement on the quality and the very essence of the record. “Autohate” is published via Danish label Mighty Music, and the vocals of John Hansen is remarkable and outstanding. He sounds very brutal and snapping - as if someone has pissed him of on a very bad day. He way he handle his voice makes me think of early recordings with Agnostic Front. The entire band has some degree of resemblance with The Haunted and Testament. Its quite funny that some of the bands that comes to – not only my mind, but to anyone else who listen to Sacrificial, were’nt even around when Sacrificial was founded. So maybe the inspiration goes outwards from Sacrificial rather than the opposite way?

”Autohate” is yet another well produced album, recorded and mixed at Jacob Hansens studio near Ribe in the south of Jutland – near the border to Germany. This studio ha s a very impressive list of reference, with many highly acclaimed bands.

My personal favourite on this album is the 5th song ”Victimized” – a blustering heavy tune that will undoubtly set any mosh pit ablaze, and make those diehard stagedivers jump again and again………….
