Temple of Baal

”Servants of the Beast”

Temple of Baal has been seriously into black metal since the foundation stone was laid down back in 1998 by Amducias.

The sound is very ravishing and sharp – strikes you right in the middle of your face! With its uncompromising and rugged mix of roaring vocals and drums of doom on songs like “Backstab” I sense the time being turned back 10 years or more. Back to the good old days when Destruction, Celtic Frost, Sodom and Venom ruled the earth. Temple of Baal is like a cut out of a picture taken in those days.

The music is very simple and primitive in both expression and composition. But it kicks ass like hell. Maybe because it’s not plastered all over with dubs and sampling – it doesn’t appear as something else than it is. Raw and unleashed energy from the darker side of the universe.

No disturbance from electronic gadgets and instruments – Temple of Baal is the real deal. They hit you in the face as hard as reinforced concrete!

“Servants of The Beast” is crammed with awesome guitar riffs and drums that would make most thunderstorms sound like a lame fart. And the vocal side – I assume that Amducias has been eating sandpaper for breakfast and drinking vinegar too – his voice is completely rugged and tough and it fits the music like a glove.

”Servants of The Beast” is the bulls eye on the dart plate of black metal – go and check it out right now. You won’t regret it – ever!
