Type O Negative

Symphony for The Devil

Once more its time for a release from Type O Negative. This time it’s a DVD titled ”Symphony for the Devil – The World of Type O Negative” and it contains a unique combination of concert-footage from Bizarre Festival ’99 in Germany as well as some comprehensive backstage-material covering the life in the tour bus as well as the extravaganza in the countless hotel rooms. There is also a photo gallery containing pics of all four band members, covering the period from early childhood and until present times. The pics presented all comes from private albums.

When looking at the background material which is all in between the 16 songs from the concert, it is easy to see that life on the road often can be fun. The humour and many practical jokes make live easier to live. But I could have done without a few of the jokes. Most of all because I was eating a meal at the time ;-(

Nevertheless- the album is a good supplement to your existing collection of Type O Negative. Or it’s a great place to start if you have just stumbled over the band.

Total plying time is a little more than 2 hours, and the sound is Dolby Digital 5,1 Stereo.
